About us

Vertige Aventures has been offering bungee jumping in Grenoble (Isère) since 1988.

Over 35 years of experience

For 35 years, the Vertige Aventures team has been welcoming you with a good mood to make you have a moment of adrenaline all in smiles and conviviality! We know how to listen and put everything in place for you to make the big jump.

We have always been keen to make you have a good time, all in optimal safety conditions.

Several months were spent in design offices, in laboratories and in administrative procedures to create and install in 1987 at the Pont de Ponsonnas near Grenoble, the first bungee jumping center in Europe. It was a whole region that mobilized around this unique project at that time. The neighboring municipalities, the General Council of Isère and the services of the Prefecture of Grenoble have made it possible to officialize this activity in France.

In 1989, given the great experience accumulated by Vertige Aventures, the Ministries of the Interior and Youth and Sports chose our company to develop the basis of the national regulation of bungee jumping.

Between 2002 and 2005, Vertige Aventures was a member of the AFNOR standardization commission, which was responsible for implementing the new standards for bungee jumping. These new standards (NF S52-501 & NF S52-5002) have been applicable since July 2005.
